Question about Computers & Internet
Hi i would like some help please. i am trying to find out what my motherboard ( N15232 ) max wattage will be. i am looking to change my psu from a 300 watt to a 600 watt psu. will my current motherboard be able to cope or will i need to buy a differnt one. any help is very welcolme thanks
The power supply wattage rating is MAX wattage, not constant wattage. the power supply only outputs the amount of power that the rest of the computer calls for, and no more. if yor computer only needs 200 watts, that is all that will be sent from the power supply; even if it has a max rating of 600 watts, it will only send the amount of watts which your computer calls for.
