Just a screw driver. very simple to replace the lamp. Just dont touch it with your fingers as this will shorten the life of the lamp.

I have a 55in Samsung Dlp the color looks good but a little dark can't see picture if the movie is dark

You might need a new bulb, the bulbs get dim as there life diminishes. Replace the bulb to get a bright picture. Do not use cheap bulbs, an OEM bulb for that tv should be $60+. . Cheap clone bulbs will work but will fail a lot sooner

I want to replace the fog lights for my wife's 2001 Oldsmobile Alero, where can I start ?

You can reach below the front bumper, behind each of the fog lights and turn counter-clockwise to remove each bulb, then simply un plug the harness. This done from outside the car not under the hood. Once you removed the 2 bulbs go to your auto parts supplier and puchase the bulbs. Reverse this procedure to install the bulbs. Try not to touch the actuall glass part of the bulb because the acid/oil on your skin will in fact decrease the life of the bulbs. You do not need any tools for replacing the fog light bulbs.. Just patience...

How do i replace the odometer cluster on a 2001 Buick Century? Odometer only light up if i hit dashboard, Then it goes out.

You dont need to replace the cluster you just need to replace the bulbs, by hitting it the bulb filment thats bad make a connection, if you remove the cluster and look at the rear of it you will see the bulbs, there are many bulbs some for the battery light and oil light, so use a flash light and when you remove a bulb shine light through the hole and see if it the correct bulb or if its a symbol bulb, most of the time the lighting bulbs use a diffrent color socket, what you do is untwist the socket then it pulls out and the bulb is on it, you then pull bulb out of socket and install new bulb on socket and twist back in, you dont need to replace the whole cluster and the bulbs are sold at any parts place, take one out and match it up it should be part # 194 bulb.

Replace a projection bulb on a RCA D52W23?

Hi,
I have this tv.
pull it out and start undoing the screws towards the bottom half of the tv around the back, get the speaker grille off and then in there is your access cover for your bulbs. theres three of them red blue green. the bulb assemblies and circuit boards are integrated 3 bulbs -three separate assemblies. you will probably have to turn the tv back on when its disassembled to see which bulb went.

I was stopped by a cop saying I had no taillights, I wasn't able to get to the mechanic right away, the next night my daughter had a similar experience- besides the bulbs, what else would I need to check...

Before buying a bulb/bulbs I would check the fuse box located in the engine compartment. Check the fuse labled 'tail lights' and 'stop lamp'. The fuse can burn out due to a faulty failed bulb. If the fuse is open (technical language for burnt) then don't replace it until you replace the bulbs as a faulty bulb probably caused it to blow. When bulbs die, they sometimes short out On the other hand - I recently had one tail light go out ( I was lucky and caught it and replaced the bulb right away). A week later the other one was burnt out. I'd bought a two pack of bulbs, and had put it in the glove box so the bulb was handy and no tools are needed to replace it. Just open the trunk and remove the cover behind the light. The socket comes out with a counterclockwise twist. Mine were in pretty tight so be careful if you use pliers to grab the socket as they're plastic. Pull the bulb straight out and get the exact replacement. The bulb number is printed in very small print on the bulb itself or on the socket depending on bulb type. The autoparts store clerk will help you get the correct bulb much faster if you have the old bulb in your hand.

Can I replace the LED light in my refrigerator?

I am not aware of any special tools or proceedues require to replace a LED light bulb, however,...... LED bulbs are generally very long life bulbs (read est. 10 year life, minimum). There is at least one manufacturer which has had some issues with their LED bulbs, and it is possible that GE may have outsourced some manufacturing, so we can not rule out a bad LED, however, it is actually more likely that you have a problem with the board or a switch, in which case the service tech will have to find out why your LED is not lighting.

Change bulbs

most are easy to switch out just make sure to be careful doing it cause they aren't cheap . u can change just one but the others probably should be changed too. the brighter bulb is probably going to throw off the other colours . for what u would pay for in bulbs u would be better off just switching to the samsung led system . one bulb .high def , upgradable . and bulb replacement is cheap . just a suggestion before u go dump a wad on three new bulbs . its a slim tv too that is hangable

START AND SHUTDOWN

Hello Mr. Bond.

I believe that you have a rear projection TV where the light from
a powerful halogen light bulb is focused onto a micro-prism
viewing screen through a Liquid Crystal Video Chip.

The light-bulbs have a finite life, degrade with time and eventually
burn out. It is likely that you have a burned out light bulb.

Replacement light bulbs range from about $150 to $250 from
the dealer, depending on the exact model.

The bulbs are somewhat cheaper by mail order from the Internet,
if you can wait that long. Also, some bulbs are available without
the integral mounting bracket, further reducing the cost, but
skilled hands and careful handling is required.

Never touch the glass of a TV light bulb with your bare fingers.
The bulb runs very hot, and residual sweat from your fingers
may cause th bulb to crack and explode.
(use gentle white cloth gloves when handling the new bulb.

I believe that bulb just burned out on its own, and this has
nothing to do with your attempt to connect a DVD player.

On my TV (Sony 60"), a flashing green light indicates a
normal power-up/ bulb warm-up cycle. If the bulb fails to
respond, the TV will detect a bad bulb and shut off again.
