You may be missing the codec to play them, if you google free video codecs and download the codec package for your operating system and install the pack it should cure the problem for you.

Unable to upload photos to Sansa View

Download from the sansa support site > http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4431/related/1/kw/media%20converter/r_id/101834 the firmware updater for your player model. The Media Converter is free to use. You can access the converter down load from the updater program. Now also the Sansa player can hook up to a computer in two different modes. Through normal use it can switch modes on it's own, although rare it can happen. Now stuff added in one mode can not be seen in the other mode and you can not delete the files. So you have MSC mode which means Mass storage class and is the best mode to use. Then MTP mode means Media transfer protocol, you have to use this mode if you use Napster and such to download MP3's with protected content (DRM) you have to set the player to one mode or the other, to see the files and delete the files you want to delete or to find the missing room. MSC makes your player look like a thumb drive, and is easy to use. Sansa Media Converter (SMC) software is required to convert and transfer videos and photos (pictures) to your Sansa player. With the player hooked up to the computer via the USB cable. Drag and drop your video into the "video" folder. Be sure the video is converted into the proper file format. Sansa players use the following video and music formats AVI, MPEG-42_bing.gif, MP3.

How to edit Kodak video on Mac
High output quality and easy to use, Kodak pocket video cameras such as Kodak Zi8, Kodak Playsport, and Kodak Mini Video Camera etc. have become very strong competitive products of the Flip video camcorders. If you want to get rid of unwanted black video sides or zoom in a part of your video, you can use this Crop function. Just click the "Edit" button on the main interface to open the Crop window, and drag the dotted green crop frame to crop your Kodak video.

Step 3: Merge Kodak videos
Select the Kodak videos you would like to merge into one file, and click the "Merge" button, and the selected Kodak videos will be merged into one file after the final conversion step.

Step 4: Edit flip video effects
You can adjust flip video contrast, brightness and saturation, and apply special video effects including old film, gray and emboss to your Kodak video. Click the "Edit" button on the main interface, and click the "Effect" tab right next to the "Crop" tab, drag the sliders to edit Kodak video contrast, brightness and saturation, and select a special effect from the effect drop down list.

Step 5: Trim Kodak video
If a video file is rather long, you can trim its length and only keep the part you want. Click the "Clip" tab, and drag the start slider to set the start time, drag the end slider to set the end time, and the video in between will be captured and kept. There are three methods as shown on the figure below:

Step 6: Start the conversion

How do I rotate my video clip

Windows Movie Maker will rotate your video clips. This program comes pre-loaded with Window, so you're likely to have it already installed on your computer (look in the Program's / Accessories folder from your Start menu).

Drag the file into movie maker, then drag it down onto the bottom timeline. Then look for "Edit Movie" in the menu on the left side of your screen. Click on it, then select the rotation that you desire. Note that Movie Maker will only allow you to save your edited movie as a WMV (Windows Media Video) movie.

Transferring files via Windows
Explorer (Drag-and-Drop)
In Windows XP (with Windows Media
Player 10 or above installed)
In Windows XP and when Windows Media Player10 is installed, the player is connected to the
computer in MTP mode. In the Windows Explorer, when the player is opened, the “Data” and
“Media” views will be displayed for the player. The Data folder is used to manage data content
on the player, such as text files. The Media folderis used to manage media content supported by
the player for playback, such as mp3 and wma.You can copy files to the player through Windows
Explorer (drag-and-drop). Picture files should be copied to the “Media” folder for viewing while
video files can not be dragged and copied to the “Media” folder directly as only .SMV files are
supported. The video files must be converted and transferred via RCA Video Converter for playback
(refer to page 19). Alternatively, you can transferthe converted video files to the "Data" folder via
the Windows Explorer (drag-and-drop).
You can copy files to / delete files from the player through Windows Explorer (drag-and-drop), but
you cannot open or edit the files directly from the player. If you want to edit the files, you will
need to copy the files from the player to another location (drive) in the system.
I was able to locate the manual for you...It will provide you with more information for your device..I hope this helps...
