u can not oil bearings u need to replace with new ones.

There are bearings in the brushbar. You can use grease on them no oil.

Hi there SmartAlec from NelsonVacuums.com.au here. Unfortunately this machine does not have bearings that you can oil. You can replace the bearings that are in each end of the brush roller by removing the brush, taking the end caps off and pulling out the bearing and putting new ones in (size 625 from memory). The bearing in the motor however is sealed and cannot be replaced. This model is designed to have a motor replaced if the bearing is failing. I dont know if this is terribly good news for you but it is accurate.
If you live in Australia you can get the bearings and motor from NelsonVacuums.com.au

Where is the brush belt on a dyson 07 upright vacuum?

Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson.

The type of belt mechanism will depend on which model of DC07 you own. If you have a DC07 machine without the brush control feature, the user-replaceable belt is located within the cleaner head:
http://www.dyson.co.uk/support/dc07/dc07-standard/maintaining-your-dyson-machine/change-the-belt1/belt-fitting-preparation

However, if your DC07 includes the brush control feature (you should see the Carpet/Hard floor dial on the cleaner head), your machine will use a clutch mechanism with belts engineered to last for the lifetime of the machine in normal use.

If you have a DC07 with brush control and would like some help with it, please contact us directly by calling 0800 298 0298 (UK), 1-866-693-9766 (US), 1-877-397-6622 (CA) or 1800 239 766 (AU).

How much does it cost to have dyson animal service

HI there I am a technition in Australia and I charge $88 for a service on a dyson DC07. Basically for that I strip the machine right down, clean the airways, service the motor and the clutch. I check the brush roller bearings and disassemle the radix unit and clear it out. I also change filters and belts where necessary. After about 5 years the bearings in the brush roller are worn too so I generally change those too.
Hope this helps.
