Hi

Intel 2200BG is known to cause this and similar errors when Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) encryption is used. The problem has been around since 2004 and new OS Drivers should fix this.

I recommend you download and install latest Windows Drivers (appropriate for your Windows Version) for Intel 2200BG Adaptor.

If this cannot be done, then setting your wireless to Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) encription (though less secure) will minimise these error conditions

NB: Google "w22n51.sys" for more info.

Regards
Mike

Go to the computer manufacturers web site and put in the product number for your computer, then when you have the info on your computer up, you should see a link for support or software and drivers, when you are on the drivers page, look for networking drivers and download.

The Realtek EAPPkt Protocol Service failed to start

Try this..1.Try to uninstall the USB adapter and re install it again. To do this go to Add/Remove Programs under Control Panel and find the usb adapter your install in this case its Alfa Wireless USB Adapter and uninstall it and restart your computer after uninstallation. 2. Remove the USB adapter while restarting and insert it again until windows already loaded and all windows startup program have all been started.
3. System will look for the system driver of USB adapter and it will prompt you for the driver location in this window do not choose the recomended instead click browse and locate the driver cd and look for driver folder and select the applicable driver for your operating system such as WinXP if your using XP.
4. If there is no driver folder in cd, go to my computer, explore cd and run setup or install this will install the pending driver installation.

AOL has been and will always have problem (had to do repairs on AOL computers since 1994)

If you have a DSL or Cable connection why pay again for AOL? That means you are paying twice for the same internet connection - and AOL causes lots of problems.

For AOL problems, it is best to contact AOL.

Hi Atta,
The memory dump is not actually a error. It is the system making a log of the what is in the memory, at the time of a crash. The actual error was caused by something else. That DLink series of wireless adapter card, and thier drivers, seem to be very problematic. I found a lot of complaints, like this one, about them.

Any driver or device consistantly using 90% of your CPU is a bad investment. I am not a Dlink hater, since I use two Dlink routers.

You can go here, and get the most recent drivers for that adaper, and see if they help.

http://support.dlink.com/products/view.asp?productid=DWL%2DG550#

If the situation continues, and Dlink doesn't put out a fix, you might want to switch to a different brand. One other "fix" I have seen work on several problematic devices like this, is to disable the Dlink Wireless software, just keep the drivers, and use the Windows Wifi interface to control the wireless.

Good luck.

Computer crashed

by unplugging the adapter has not solved your problem because the driver is the cause of the crash. Try booting in safe mode again, but this time select last known good configuration, or boot in VGA mode(when in VGA mode uninstall the driver in add/remove programmes), if you get into last known good configuration your pc is working as normal. If none of the above work you may have to use your XP cd to do a system repair, if so post back
