Hi!

From the S15 owners manual (Page 46):
http://www.bluemoment.com/manuals/silva_s15.pdf

The RED wire is GPS data,
The green wire is GPS ground.

Hope this helps and good luck!

How do I connect my Garmin GPSMAP 451 to a Standard Horizon GX1200E VHF radio, eclipse DSC?

Hi
You'll need to identify and connect NMEA out (+ and -) from your 451 to NMEA in (+ and -) to your VHF to get it done.
Hope this is helpful.

How to wire Uniden UM380 to Garmin 2010c for gps reading on radio

Garmins have USB or Data connectors - or both
obviously radio needs one of those inputs.
radio must be setable for Garmin format. If NMEA only verify Garmin is set to output NMEA - some do not have that option.

Change MMSI number ? simrad rd 68

Hi!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but according to the Owners Manual for this unit:
http://www.busse-yachtshop.de/pdf/simrad-rd68.pdf (Page 6),
to erase a previously entered MMSI, the radio must be sent to a Simrad authorized dealer. I suppose this feature was put into effect to cut down on stolen Simrad products.

Hope this is helpful, sorry I couldn't do more for you.

Hello, Can you tell me what make of GPS will work with the Icom m-504. I tried using the Garmin 76csx with the NEMA in/Nema out function set, but it will not communicate to the Icom. I would appreciate...

Hi!

We had the same problem with our Uniden Oceanus failing to communicate with our GPS. What the problem was, was that our VHF didn't recognize the NMEA sentences transmitted from our "ancient" GPS. We ended up buying a Standard Horizon cp180 chartplotter. PRESTO! Our DSC capability materialized.

Your 76CSx is newer than our Magellan was, so before you take on the task of a $400 chartplotter purchase, just make sure your BAUD rate is set to 4800. This adjustment alone could make your GPS work with your ICOM.

Hope this is helpful.

M402 didnt receive the gps signal transmitted by garmin 72 via nmea 2.0

Check the wiring again. Installing my M422 needed to switch the polarity of the NEMA input from my GPS75. May be similar problem
