SOURCE: my nokia 5300 restarts while playing music player

Hi,

problem can be solved. When you download from the internet or collect applications from other devices, it makes it easy for the phone to be infected by virus and it can affect the board of the phone and make it malfunction.

The board of the phone is affected and ir having a memory lose, that is why the phone keeps on restarting itself.

The phone will need to be flashed for it to restore the memory lost so that the phone can boot the normal way.

Have a nice day.

Cannot play music

i think the music player software of your phone has got corrupted due to some error. it would be best to reinstall the software on your phone.

for this you would need a few things handy before you start off. first move all your data like pictures and songs from the phone memory to the memory card. now you would need to have nokia pc suite installed on your pc and you would need a data cable compatible with your phone. keep your phone in general profile and make sure the battery is full. connect the phone to the computer. the computer would recognise and install the usb drivers for the phone. now open nokia pc suite and configure the phone. next click on backup phone data on the nokia pc suite main screen. now it would backup all your data from the phone like contacts, sms, settings etc onto your computer. next click on software update. the suite would search for the software (note: you need to be connected to the internet) and would turn up with the software for your phone. now the installation would proceed. once it is done, again click on backup and restore the data from pc to phone. the reformat is done!

after this i would advice you to be careful while you recieve data over bluetooth or data cable. accept data only from reliable sources
