I have replaced the connector that connects to the cannister and the tube. I was able to wire everything up and test, but now despite large efforts of pulling / pushing I cannot get the clips to click. Any ideas?
Thank you for any help!!!

- That was it - heated up the neck and the clips directly, and then squeezed the suckers together.
Make sure that the two prongs that go over the hose are going in the correct slot in the cuff. If in the wrong one, the cuff won't snap into place. I have had to slam the end of the hose on the work bench while holding the cuff to push it all of the way on. Some I have heard warm up the cuff in hot water or a hair dryer to make it more pliable.

While vacuuming the other day, the head continued yet the canister failed sucking... seems no power at the base unit, yet delivers power to rotary heads. Acts much like a fuse has blown or a reset button on the motor tripped. Can you help?
