Question about Microsoft Digital Image Pro 9.0 for PC

1 Answer

Can I add more fonts to the choices?

I am building headlines w/art in Digital imagemaker then importing them into what amounts to a blog posting. I really need helvetica futura and/or neuzeit grotesk cuz that's what the designer used on the rest of the page (or close enough to work any ways...). Can I find/buy/load other fonts into the program?

How to add a tag / label cloud to your Google Weblog OR Blogspot Template

You can use several widgets that are available that require you to register and claim your like the leading website Technorati you will then be on their blogroll which you might as well do anyway. At the time of posting the widgets section is being revamped so if you just want a simple cloud just for your blog not linked to another site read on.

First you need to add Bloggers own Configure label widget through the dashboard., this may suffice for you needs but its not much of a cloud.

29ec583.png

Next you need to add several lines of HTML code to your template in the editor I suggest you donwload it first for a backup copy should you make a mistake.

Next you need to do a search for this line of HTML code this the where you add the next two pieces of code

</b:skin>

Above this code add this code in place of the single line I suggest that you add a carriage return either side of it, you must not add it after the last
tag

/* Label Cloud Styles
----------------------------------------------- */
#labelCloud {text-align:center;font-family:arial,sans-serif;}
#labelCloud .label-cloud li{display:inline;background-image:none !important;padding:0 5px;margin:0;vertical-align:baseline !important;border:0 !important;}
#labelCloud ul{list-style-type:none;margin:0 auto;padding:0;}
#labelCloud a img{border:0;display:inline;margin:0 0 0 3px;padding:0}
#labelCloud a{text-decoration:none}
#labelCloud a:hover{text-decoration:underline}
#labelCloud li a{}
#labelCloud .label-cloud {}
#labelCloud .label-count {padding-left:0.2em;font-size:9px;color:#000}
#labelCloud .label-cloud li:before{content:"" !important}
</b:skin>

NEXT : - Find this HTML code, best to leave Expand Widget unchecked, for the label widget and then replace it with the code in this download HERE

eb9cb36.png

You need to then save your template and you will see your new label cloud.

You can change the details of the CSS section above to change the font typeface, size and colour if you want to for example to change the font to arial alter the line

#labelCloud {text-align:center;font-family:arial,sans-serif;}

change the font-family to one of your own choice like trebuchet.

#labelCloud {text-align:center;font-family: trebuchet.;}

If you do set the display to block you would probably want to change the sort frequency from alphabetical to frequency do this in the actual blogger label widget in the design dashboard. also change the display line from
display:inline to display:block to get the a flat listing.

Unable to load post script fonts in windows-xp

Well postscript fonts are vector outline fonts, so they contain instructions about the building of their outlines and curves and such. Hence two files are required to use a postscript font under Windows.

As to how to install these fonts, well
 1. Click Start | Settings | Control Panel.
 2. Double-click on the Fonts folder.
 3. Choose File | Install New Font.
 4. In the Folders menu, navigate to the folder containing the fonts that you wish to install. A list of available fonts will appear in the List of Fonts window.
 5. Click on the font you wish to install or use the "Select All" button to install all fonts in the List of Fonts.
 6. Click on OK.
Please keep in mind:
 1. If you are installing fonts from a CD be sure the 'Add without copying files' box is NOT checked; unless the fonts are on a located somewhere (such as a network) which you will have access to at all times.
 2. Postscript fonts have two files: PFB (printer font binary has outlines that control how the font looks) and PFM (printer font metrics has information about font spacing). Be sure you have both font files.
 3. If you currently have or previously had Adobe Type Manager Deluxe 4.0, 4.1, or 4.1.1 installed you may need the Adobe Deluxe Updater in order to properly use your Postscript fonts under Windows XP. Get it from Adobe.
Hope this helped. Let me know and if yes please rate me:)

Album art

I honestly don't know much about how MediaMonkey works. Many people swear by it, but I've always been quite happy with how WMP11 manages things.

Anyways... The first thing you need to do is make sure that MediaMonkey can see your music library - the one you have stored on your computer somewhere (in many media managers, this is called folder monitoring). Next, go through your library, using MediaMonkey, and ensure all of your songs display with album art. Add appropriate images to any that are missing it.

Now, this is the important part: Once you are satisfied with the library setup with MediaMonkey, everything is tagged how you want it all, and so on -- boot your player into Recovery Mode, and run Disk Cleanup and then Reformat Disk. I know this sounds like a royal pain in the ass, but trust me hon - this is the only sure way to purge the player's database of all traces of whatever you were previously using to sync your media, so it will recognize and accept MediaMonkey's way of doing things! Once you've done all that, restart your player, set everything back up (including a name), then plug it in and sync it with MediaMonkey. When it's all done syncing, you should have album art displaying now!

Keep us posted, and good luck!
