Question about RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100
1. power off the blackberry
2. clean the trackball of dirt that could possibly build up
3. push the trackball with more than necessary force in the direction in which in won't scroll until the movements seem similar to those of the directions that are still functional.
4. If its regained some movement then with the blackberry on repeat the process in a text message and try to scroll through it until it works.

Try takign out the batery if that doesnt work click it a bunch of times to losen it up
