Question about Dell Studio 15 Laptop
My keyboard is giving me trouble to type and the cursor keeps jumping to other areas on the screen.i press the keys but most times the letters do not show up and I have to keep pressing.i have had my laptop for about one year and this has just recently started happening. My laptop has also been heating up quite a bit. Please help me.

The Cursor jumping can be resolved by going to the touchpad properties
and enabling touchcheck (Palmcheck is some drivers) this will disable
the touchpad while typing.
Ad far as dealing with heat, canned compressed air blowing dust out of the air intake/exhaust will normally help cooling

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:
Feb 13, 2014 | HEWLETT-PACKARD ProBook 4720s Notebook
Feb 04, 2013 | Dell Inspiron Computers & Internet
Click the Windows "Start" button or press the "Windows" key. The "Start" menu opens.
Type "Cursor blink" in the "Search programs and file" text box.
A list opens.
Click "Change Cursor Blink Rate." The "Keyboard Properties" window opens.
Click the "Speed" tab. A list of options appears.
The "Cursor Blink Rate" section shows a "Cursor Blink Rate" slider displaying a range from "None" to "Fast."
Click and drag the slider button to the "None" area in the far left portion of the "Cursor Blink Rate" scale.
Click "OK." The cursor stops flickering on the screen.
hope this helps
