Might need more information. You are attaching a file to your email. I am guessing that this is a .JPG file. Some email servers only will allow a certain size file. Is is a large file?? Is this the first time that you are having a problem with this on this machine?

Thanks
Steve

Should be in start / programs / acer

I would use either hotmail/live mail with Internet explorer to send photos, or googlemail and chrome.
If you use this combination, it will automatically resize your photos for email (hotmail with chrome/firefox or googlemail with IE wont work)

I dont know how to use my email and email a picture to a gmail

Hi,
please open the website for your e-mail (for example if you have an e-mail with YAHOO then you will go to yahoo.com or which ever you have an account with )
then you click on the sign in button and put in your username and the password and click sign in .
Now it will take you to the mailbox page
click on the TAB that says (new or create or send a new mail ) type in the subject of the mail that you are sending
and the subject in the subject colloumn
after that you type in your mail in the body of the e-mail(this is the normal way of sending e-mail )
now to send a photo or anything through the mail (clcik on the attatch button )and browse to the place where you have the files that you need to attatch and click on open and it will get attatched .
now your mail is prepared and the attatchment is created and simply click on send
and since you would be sendingit to gmail account put in the address of the person whom you are sending the e-mail in teh to colloumn that would end with Gmail.com
please follow the indstruction aftre clickingon the right account name and this should make you understand how to send an e-mail

How do I email photos from my dell computer?

A simple process to e-mail photos from any computer using windows is fairly simple. Find the folder with the pictures in them. Then select the pictures you would like to send by pressing the "ctrl" key while left clicking(left mouse button) on each picture you would like to send. Once you have selected the pictures then right click on one of the highlighted pictures and select "send to" and then "e-mail recipient" and then right click. This will bring up a page to send the e-mail using your default e-mail program with the pictures attached. You can then add any remarks, comments ect. and choose who you would like to send the pictures to.

My computer refuses to change a message in Outbox to Send, leaving me with a queue ofunsent messages. I can receive incoming clls, but not send any out returner@ntl world.com

Make sure your SMTP (outgoing) server is set properly.
Are you on your own connection - or using a retail WiFi one?

Normally most WiFi servers reject outgoing mail.
You can GET mail - just not send any.
SMTP is blocked.
Pop3 (incoming) is allowed.

To check that the SMTP is set properly -

Open O/E, and navigate to the following screen....

Tools > Accounts > (Highlight the eMail account you are trying to send from).

Then click Properties

Click SERVERS tab.

It should say...
Outgoing Mail (SMTP): __________________________

In the blank it should say something like: SMTP.ntworld.com
(check with your service provider for the correct SMTP setting)

Thanks for using FixYa - if you need further clarification on your question - please use the "continue with this user" option so we are connected in the future.

Thank You!! :D

I don't seem to be able to send photos by Kodak Easyshare e-mail even though I am on line and the address is correct.

Ditch Kodak Easyshare and just use your email program:
Attachment basics When you send photos in e-mail, the photos go along for the ride as attachments, just like any other file you add to an e-mail.
To attach a photo in Outlook:
  1. Click New to open a Message window.
  2. Fill in the To and Subject boxes as usual and type any message you wish to accompany the photos.
  3. Click Insert File (the paperclip icon), locate your file through the Insert File box, click the file's name and then click the Insert button. If you wish to add multiple files from within the same folder, hold down the Ctrl key while clicking multiple files, then click the Insert button.
  4. Repeat Step 3 for any other files you wish to attach.
  5. Click Send.
In Outlook Express:
  1. Click Create Mail to open a New Message window.
  2. Fill in the To and Subject lines and type in your message.
  3. Click the Attach button, locate the file in the Insert Attachment box and click Attach. Use Ctrl-click to select multiple files.
  4. Click Send.
In Netscape Mail:
  1. Click New Message to open the Compose window.
  2. Fill in the To and Subject lines, and type in your message.
  3. Click the Attach button or, in Netscape 6, click in the empty Attachments box.
  4. Select your file in the Enter Files To Attach dialog and click Open.
  5. To attach multiple files, repeat Steps 3 and 4.
  6. Click Send.

I cannot receive photos in my Email from other people The photoes always return to sender

You're confusing e-mail with the USPS. What ISP are you trying to take e-mail from? If it's your employer, they may have a stupid IT policy where they just reject all attachments. You should get the exact bounce message from your friends first, though; they'll have to open the header and read a bit to see whether the recipient was recognized, the message refused based on some policy, etc.
