I have a Sony SLV-D370P DVD/VHS Combo. The problem is one day the DVD wouldn't open. I thought it might be the fuse...which was white instead of see-through glass. Is that normal? Or does that mean the fuse has been blown?
Its blown

well if it is a glass one that has gone white it is definitely a faulty fuse.
But on the other hand some models were fitted with ceramic fuses which are of white ceramic.Your reference to a clear glass lead me to belkieve yours was a glass one gone white
If you have had the unit open, check that the mechanism that ejects the drawer has a belt that is intact that rotates to slide the draw in and out. If it has slipped it could be impeding the movement of the mechanism
