Hi
My machine is not filling up with water, there is no water going in at all, I have checked the feed which is okay have put on brand new inlet valve and it still does not let the water in, if I put water inside manually and start it up it just pumps it straight out but does not refill, after a few minutes of it being on it goes to error code E05 forgot to say that when you reset it and start it again the only thing its doing is running the outlet pump all the time. can you please help me.

Have you checked there is no water in the base of the machine (there is probably a float with a microswitch there).

If there is any water at all in the base the float rises and triggers the microswitch turning on the drain pump. Does the drain pump run even with the door open?

You could try tilting the dishwasher 45 degrees and see if any water comes out

Maytag performa dishwasher, model # PDBL390AWB.

Sounds like to me you have a water restriction somewhere. Double check and make sure that the main water valve coming into your home is fully open. Make sure the water shut off valve(s) going to the dishwasher both have adequate water flow and that means testing them before being connected to dish washer. If that checks out okay, possibly the plunger that opens and closes in the electric water solenoid is sticking and not opening up al the way since the unit has been in storage for all that time. Sometimes tapping on it when it is in operation can free up that sticking plunger and you may get full water flow restored again. If not, solenoid may have to be replaced. Hope this helps out.

Tub wont fill with water

Could it be the water is not getting to the machine? Usually there is a water inlet fitting on the back or bottom of the machine. Please check that first.
Be blessed.

Dishwasher will not fill with water

depending on the make and model of dishwasher the solution can vary. A good guess (assuming the inlet hose is connected and tap is turned on), is the water pressure setting may not be matching with your normal mains pressure. Check installation instructions for setting mains water pressure. Also some dishwashers like Bosch have special inlet hoses which detect water leakage and shut of the water inlet valve. Need to check if your dishwasher has got this feature and need to confirm the hose is correctly fitted.
More importantly check when you turn wash cycle on if you hear click of the inlet valve or not.

Machine is not filling with water at of the cycle

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

Based on your description, "machine is not filling with water at of the cycle"...the issue is likely with the inlet/water valve.

**To remedy this you will need to replace the valve**

This is what to look for..i.e.

e601791.jpg

Original part is # 425458. It usually retails for about $20 - $30USD at places such as "searspartsdirect.com" "repairclinic.com" to name a couple. Double check with your specific model number to be sure.

**Before attempting to repair the unit please turn off the power and the water supply to the dishwasher...safety first**

If you remove the lower kick plate/toe panel, you will see the inlet valve to your left...

Replacing it or to check for debris in the filter/screen at the inlet is pretty straight forward. Here`s how...

1) undo the water line. ( here you can visually inspect the screen in the valve...if nothing noted, you'll likely need to replace it as follows )

2) Remove the two #20 torx screws fastening it in place.

3) the feed tube to the machine at the back of the valve and swap it with the new one.

Once the new one is in you should be good to go.

Let me know if you need any further assistance, otherwise good luck.

Aquarius df61 fill problems. My dishwasher does not fill with water on either the wash or the rince cycle. How can this be fixed

check the float on the inside of the machine. if it is stuck up, the machine assumes it is full of water and will not allow any more to enter. it looks like little cone or hat and should move freely up and down. if that is okay, it has to be the water inlet valve. good luck

No water going to feed machine

There's no hot water Some washing machines allow hot water to enter only during certain cycles. Others intermittently allow hot and cold to enter, to temper the temperature of the water. Consult your owner's manual if you are unsure about whether the machine is acting abnormally.

If you're sure the machine isn't working the way it used to--or should--try these tests:

  • Is the hot water turned on? If not, turn it on.

  • Is the washer getting cold water but no hot water? If so, check to see if the control panel settings are correct.

  • Is there hot water coming through the proper hose? If not, check to see if the screen inside the water-inlet valve is clean. (The water-inlet valve is the device on the washing machine that the fill hoses are attached to.) If it's clean, you probably have a defective water-inlet valve. If so, completely replace it.

  • Is there water getting to the machine?

  • Is the water-volume selector switch set properly and are the control panel buttons pressed in all the way?

  • If you have a Maytag® washer, is the fuse (if there is one) in the control panel at the lid-switch bracket blown?

  • Is there a faint buzzing or humming noise coming from the water-inlet valve? (The water-inlet valve is the device on the washing machine that the fill hoses are attached to.) If you can't hear anything, the water-inlet valve may not be getting any power. If you can hear some noise and there's water present, you may need to completely replace the water-inlet valve.

    Miele G 7856 Commercial Dishwasher

Hi. The above machine stops mid cycle and drain/fill light is on, also error code F3E, have cleaned both hot and cold water inlet filters, also checked drain pump and drain line, all ok. Machine drains with no issues and fills with hot water, runs for a while then shuts down.
    Any ideas?

SMEG Dishwasher - Water fill level is too low

Hi, I found your problem stuck here from one year ago.

I will post my solution the same, as reference for you and more users with same problem, apologies.

Re: smeg dishwasher fails to fill with enough water to sucessfully wash. It does put some water in.. but nowhere near enough.

Before checking parts inside the machine, ensure that water is coming from the faucet at the back with regular pressure.

To start check the water level sensor.

This is usually a floater sensor located on a side inside the dishwasher.

Check if water level is working properly, if the floater is getting stuck then that is the problem.

If the water level is OK, then the responsible is usually the inlet valve, or clogged inlet lines.

From description it looks more like a faulty water level.

Disherwasher not filling all the way

Check first the filters on the inlet water line (both sides). Then, if problem still exist - check that the inlet water valve works(it is an electromagnet valve, located at the pipe's entrance to the machine)). If it doesn't work, test that it get power. In case it get power and doesn't work - You can easily open the valve and clean it (from scale or other dirt). Be aware you should disconnect the power cable from machine before doing it !!!! Check as well for valve's coil resistance. In case you don't have a resistance measurement - you should replace it for a new one. Let me know if you will need for further assistance. Good luck

    Brand new dishwasher not working

try this test: add water (one gallon each try) by hand fill and try the cycle again. Continue until light goes out. If light never goes out, then faulty water level switch or wiring. If light goes out, then water inlet valve is stopping too early, but need more info to determine why. Try this test: open door and find the door switch. Then activate the switch and turn on machine to watch water come in. It should not just "dribble" in; try to determine if water pressure is sufficient coming in.
