SOURCE: I have a bottom freezer

It sounds like you are having an issue with the defrost control sensor. Your best bet would be to contact LG at 800-243-0000. In or out of warranty they are always willing to assist. If they give you problems ask to speak to a supervisor and they will assist you.

The freezer is fine steady at 0, but the refrigerator temperature keeps rising currently at 67 degrees.

Check the freezer make sure you do not have frost build up. Defrost problems choke out the air flow and if it happens the refrigerator will not cool.

Jenn Air JCD2389GTW Refrigerator problem

Check the back wall of the freezer section for frost. If it is frosted you do have a defrost problem. Timer or heater related. More economical to repair than to buy a new system.
