My printer has displaying the message for months. Lately I was fussing with the outlet and repowered the machine several times. Suddenly the printer printed out a page I had first attempted to print a month ago. The page came out perfect. Then the printer went back to claiming it was not able to print.

...is to replace the ph. It s defective due to generic ink which you have used, I guess.

Anyway, a new ph costs nearly the same as a new mfc.

How do i fix unable to initial 4f error

The most common cause of this will be a full waste ink chamber and purge counter.

There are lots of pages and u-tube videos to deal with this or just junk the machine and buy a new one as they are cheap enough

I have a similar problem, nothing stuck in the printer. It needs a new print head (costs more than a new printer).
