Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

1 Answer

Voice recorder only

Hope you can help me. All of a sudden any button I push on my Razar V3 starts the voice recorder. I am not able to access the menu, dial a number or anything else. I have already tried removing and replacing the SIM card to no avail.

TIA

Greg

Hey Greg,

It looks to me as if your voice recording button (the long button on the side of the flip) is stuck or defective.

This will need to be sent in for repair as it will involve having to replace the switch flex inside the flip.

Hope this helps,
cHipz

Voice record memory full & screen froze

Are you able to get into the software to purge the voice records?

If not, it sounds like the phone needs to be "reflashed" at an authorized service centre. Take it where you bought it. It should not cost you if it is less than one year old (warranty).

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

HI tHERE, There's a flex cable on your screen that controls the voice recording. This needs to be replaced by a service tech. They could be brought on ebay fairly cheap. It's called the screen flex cable for v3 razr. Hope this helps. Sam !
