Question about Logitech Wireless Access Duo Optical Desktop Keyboard/Mouse KBWIREOPT

Logitech dinovo mini clickpad not "clicking"......

After 12 months of faultless service from my mini, the clicpad (trackpad) will work as a mouse, but not as an "enter" key. Is there a spring that has failed behind the button that can be replaced, (& where...?)or would it be cheaper to purchase another. Any help regarding this problem would be appreciated.

Had the same problem just the other day.

Fixed it by a bit of fiddling. I used three very scientific butter knives and a jewellers screwdriver.

First, the silver corner caps at the top can be removed by gently inserting a think blunt edge (like a butter knife) in the join line on the outer edge. The retaining lug is just inboard from the corner.

Next the covers reveal 2 small retaining screws. Remove them

Then I gentlly inserted the knives in between the bezel moulding around the join line. The clickpad is attached to the bezel (somehow). I was able to lift the beel and clickpad up enough to get teh knife blade between the body of the keyboad and the clickpad. By doing that, something on the clickpad must be reseated/realigned or something. At that point the clickpad started clicking again.

Press the bezel back, replace screws and refit the corner mouldings.

Need a manual for dinovo wireless desktop

Logitech is not only a good brand but they have great support. Can you guess what I'm using right now ;-]

Anyway there are a few different dinovo types and the easiest way is to click on the link and look for the correct picture of your set. That will take you to the support page and the downloads. There you can get the manuals drivers and any software.

How do i turn off the touhpad function?

Alan, Here is how you could turn off the touch pad through windows settings. Also, note that this version of HP Pavilion's sometimes have driver issues that cause this feature not to be applied. In turn a driver update would help fix that and allow you to disable the touchpad.

Windows Settings:

1) Click Start - Control Panel - Mouse - Tapping - UnCheck the 'Tapping' Box - Then Click "Okay"

Windows Drivers:

1) HP Driver Page, but you will note there are several model listed.

2) Select the one that matches your system that on the bottom of your laptop. It should have a more specific model to choose from.

3) Select Your Operating System

4) Under the Category of "
Driver - Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices" download the "Touchpad Point Device Driver".

5) Follow the install instructions, and it maybe self installing. (A system restart maybe needed)

I hope that address your question, and best of luck to you!

The mouse on Dinovo edge keyboard not working at all

It is possible that your touch-disk is turned off. Try pressing the Fn key (RHS of the space bar, between the alt and ctrl keys) along with the "right mouse button" (the right button underneath the touch disk) -- when you press the Fn key the word "On" will light up above the button.

If that is not the problem, perhaps the driver software was not properly installed or the keyboard is defective. You could try reinstalling Logitech's software.

Good luck.
