The Oven Won't Light

I have a Dynasty DGRSC 304 gas range serial number 040601. The oven will not ignite. I can see the orange glow of the igniter down on the right side inside the oven.
I have tried the broiler and that functions as normal. All the burners on the stove top are also functioning normal as well.

The problem is usually the igniter not reaching the correct amp draw .When the igniter does not reach the correct amp draw it may allow the gas valve to partially open or not open at all. The igniters are inexpensive and easy to replace. There is a video at www.appliancehelponline.com/servicemanual.html this will walk you thru the correct procedure for performing this test. It may be a different model but the testing will be the same. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. Not all models are available. All parts come with installation instructions.

The igniter must draw approximately 3.0 amps before it will open the gas valve to allow the oven to function. Place a clamp amp meter on one of the leads and check the amount of current. If less than 2.9 amps replace the igniter. You can find it on http://www.ignitors.com/oven-ignitors/dynasty.html

Viking oven broiler will not ignite

Your gas valve would be my first guess. Is this broiler (and bake ) lit with a glow coil or spark probe that goes (goes click, click, to light)??
If spark probe, you will have to replace either gas valve or spark board.
If glow bar lights the broil but does not glow, then replace glow coil.

Oven is not igniting

This has happened to me on several occasions. It has always been the igniter. I have had service men replace a couple. I finally replaced one myself. It is a Maytag ignitor Part number 70001036. It takes three screws; one to loosen the burner, and two to replace the igniter. Easier than $125 for a repairman and $100 for the igniter.
Good Luck.

LOOKS LIKE NO GAS TO OVEN. GLOW STICK LIGHTS IS YELLOW-BROILER LIGHTS...GLOW STICK SAME COLOR AS OVEN'S

You need a new thermostat for the oven. It isn't picking up the heat from the ignitor. They're relatively cheap and easy to replace.

Dynasty oven fails to get enough gas to light.

I think you are talking about the oven safety valve or thermal valve. before you change you oven safety valve, I would check the Amperage on the oven ignitor first, install AMP meter on one of the ignitor wire, it should draw above 3AMPs, if not then you have problem with the oven ignitor and not the safety valve. we hardly change the safety valve, I'll try to change the ignitor first. Have fun.

Dynasty model dgr-336b mfg.1993 converted to propane serial #040692h

pull up the floor of your oven and look at the burner, have any of the small gas holes rusted out in to bigger holes? Sounds like it is possible that most of the gas is now coming out a 'burned out' hole rather than the small neat row of normal holes. Good luck.
