Seems that your problem is not your Samsung Monitor. Please check very well. Since this is basically an indication that your CPU is not working that is why there is no display in the monitor and the yellow light turns to orange.

  1. Please try to use another monitor if you still have one that is working well. Then power up your computer and see if there is display on the monitor. If there is, then your reported monitor really has a problem. And if there is no display even in the new working monitor, then the CPU is in frozen state that is why there is no display on the monitor.

LCDs usually dont have screws to unlock them. They just have the palstic locks inside that can be unlocked by inserting a flat object in between the plastic covers.

Removing a BAD virus infection

Your computer won't start up without lots of things going wrong. Your antivirus (AV) program tells you there are 1000s of infected files, or it won't update, or won't even run. How do you get rid of a nasty infection like this?

Please read this entire article before doing anything, and if you feel lost, DON'T proceed, find someone who knows what I'm talking about. This will be better than destroying your drive or your friend's computer!

You're going to need some things:
  • a good friend who'll let you use their computer (and drive case), unless you have a second machine
  • a second computer, working perfectly with a good, up-to-date AV program (anti-malware would be a plus too)
  • an external USB drive case to put your hard drive in, or be able to plug the drive inside the second computer (in a desktop only)

If you have access to a USB drive case the right size for your drive, mount the drive in the case. You can then plug this in to the good computer.

If you don't have a drive case, you'll need to open the good desktop up and connect your drive to the second drive cable. The boot hard drive must stay there of course, on its own drive cable. You'll need to disconnect the CD/DVD drive to do this, and any other drive connected to that second cable, so that your drive is the only one on that cable. You'll need power for your drive as well, of course.

To run a virus check you can usually right-click on the drive in My Computer or similar, and select a virus scan from the menu, like the example with AVG below.

This scan will take a while. Set to full speed scan if your AV program allows this, and let it go. When this has finished, remove all the infected files listed. Run the anti-malware program as well. If you think it necessary, run them both again!

While you've still got the drive in the other computer, and AFTER you're sure it's clean, back up any important documents to the drive on the other computer (and then check them again for viruses!).

When this has all finished, shut down the computer and put your drive back in its own computer. If you're lucky, it will actually boot, but this may not be the case. You may need to repair/reinstall Windows on your drive, as some of the files quarantined or deleted may have been system files.

Now you know the value of having a working AV program, don't ever operate without one again, and always keep it up-to-date.

My HTC one screen is black and power button wont bring screen back on?

The HTC One does not have a removable battery. It cannot be opened without destroying the phone. If holding down the power button for at least one full minute does not start a reset, you're out of luck as far as I know. Take it back to the store and see what they can do. I believe it's dead.

Aspire 750 CPU case button destroyed.

I'm not overly familiar with this model...but assuming its a desktop, try this. Open the side panel on the case and try to find the back of the power button. If you can find it, and there are two wires that come directly from the back of said button, follow those two wires to where they connect to the motherboard. If they run into something else or there are more than two wires connecting to said power button, you may be out of luck and need to get a hold of a new button before you can turn it back on.

I take no responsibility for any slips and mistakes you should make doing the following, do so at your own discretion and beware of possible damage to yourself or your computer.

I used to work in a shop, and when ever we'd get a desktop with a bad power button, we'd turn it on by opening the tower, tracing the wires from the power button to the two pins on the motherboard said wires plug into, unplugging said wires, and shorting the two pins on the motherboard together for half a second with a screw driver. Naturally, I'll tell you to be careful doing this. I'm not responsible if you short the wrong pins and a)fry your computer or b) fry yourself.

Hope that helps and good luck!

Time to replace the battery, but cannot manage to remove the back cover. Any special tricks? I'm familiar with using sharp knife blade to do this, but it's not working. Thanks!

You defenately need a watch case opener.

It can be more than difficult to open a watch case with a sharp knive/screwdriver without destroying it.

A case opener can be the only solution.

Otherwise you'll have to bring your watch to a professional to get the battery replaced.

Good luck

When i press power on; F2 set up and F12 boot options appear and nothing else happens and i dont know what to press next for ti to start up.

Are you trying to reinstall your OS? Or just trying to boot to normal mode?
If the first is your case, you have to choose booting with CD drive in order for your system to boot on your CD Installer.
However, if the second is your case, you don't need to press F2 and F12 after powering on. If you encounter this without your BIOS changed, try reverting it back to BOOT on HARD DRIVE. That is when you are in the BOOT OPTIONS, select HARD DRIVE and press ENTER.

Hello, i have problem with my Iphone 3g 8gb. The problem is that, that after a few opening it stoped to work. It was not first time when i was opening it because wanted to make camera working well, but...

I would strongly suggest to bring it to the nearest apple store, but try these combinations as well.

1. Make sure your iPhone is connected to its charger for about 20 minutes, see if there's any reaction. The battery may be causing the problem.
2. If that's not the case, keep the phone connected to the charger, press the power button for 10 seconds, then press the home button without letting go of the power button for another 10 seconds.
3. Release the power button, and it should automatically start in DFU mode.

If this does not work, repeat all the steps above now with your USB connected to the laptop, and try restoring it with iTunes.

I have been using a KB3030B electric pressure washer to clean patio and have notice oil leaking from bottom of casing. Don,t know where its coming from nor what to do

The pump has a section with pistons that must have oil. The oil/piston housing is between the motor and the water portion of the pump. Some seals, somewhere are leaking. If you run it without oil it will destroy itself. You must get it fixed and I would do so before using it again.
