Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
If the drive is physically incapable of accepting a disk you may have to send it to sony for warranty work. If you aren't under warranty you can still send it in for a nominal fee ($150) and they will repair or replace the unit. If you risk trying to fix it yourself by tampering with it sony will void the warranty and any factory work paid or not.
