Believe it when I say the pool is not connected to the toilet.

You are not clear as to what actually happened, I presume the pool company came in and attached a hi-pressure cleaning device to your water supply. As such, they were definitely using your fresh water supply which should not have made much difference on the pressure. You say it did, ok. When the pressure went down in your water line, there is that possibility that the toilet would not fill as fast as when full pressure is available but that should only be a matter of minutes not hours, particularly if your toilet is a tank type.

You say you are in a community center, I must presume you have at least a one inch water line into your building and probably much larger, you may have a tankless toilet with a meter valve ("Sloan") on it - meaning you have enough water in your water system to support a direct flush and do not require a tank.

It could be that scale inside your pipes was disturbed by the high flow of water and the scale found its way to your "Sloan" valve, blocking the flow of water. To check this, turn off the water supply to the toilet, remove the top of the valve and clean it. Reassemble and turn the water back on.

I hope this works for you ... thanks for your quesiton @ FixYa.com

Water comes in but will not go out

If I understand correctly, you opened the drain valve on water heater and saw that drain valve has water flow just like turning on a water spigot.

Take apart the hot water pipe on top of heater and inspect outlet nipple for sediment clog.
You may have to replace hot water nipple or other pipes above water heater.

You can take apart pipes and test pressure using pressure gauge:

I have a Maytag side by side w/ ice and water dispencer. Have been having intermittent problems with unit not dispencing water and not making ice(water not filling in to ice tray)unit is now making ice but...

YOU COULD HAVE A BAD WATER VALVE OR YOUR TANK IS CLOGGED UP AND STOPPING THE WATER FLOW THROUGH THE LINES. MOST MODELS HAVE A TANK IN THE BACK OF THE SHELVES ON THE REFRIGERATOR SIDE DOWN AT THE BOTTOM. IT WILL BE LOCATED BEHIND A PANEL YOU WOULD HAVE TO REMOVE SHELVES AND SCREWS TO GET TO IT BUT FIRST CHECK VALVE SOME SYSTEMS HAVE MULTI VALVES WHERE ON CONTROLS THE ICE MAKER AND THE OTHER ON THE DISPENSER.

No water will enter the dishwasher, There is no problem with the water supply or the supply line. The water flows from the supply line to the dishwasher connector but does not enter the dishwasher.

The water-inlet valve lets water enter the machine. Make sure it's not clogged. There is a screen on the inside of the valve, this sometimes gets clogged up with debris. Check to see if you get power to valve when unit is put into operation may take a couple minutes to start a fill. If you have power and it's not clogged up replace the valve .If you have no power to the water inlet valve check float switch. This can be done by checking the continuity. Here is a video checking the water inlet valve and the float switch. It may be a different model but the testing procedure will be the same. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations for most models. All parts come with installation instructions.

Water slowly coming out of dispenser

Is this a new Unit or a second hand unit? If it is not new... most likely there is debris in the water valve inlet or the actual saddle valve / faucett connection to the refrigerator water supply line is partially blocked.

Without a Model number to ensure the exact parts inside the unit for you to check is a bit of a problem.

Most of the water valves are the same and an example of yours would be item 10 of this link: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5132635&diagram_id=945271#d945271

- What I recommend you do is disconnect the water supply line on the back of the unit and check 16 oz. of water flow at the end of the supply line. Water OFF before disconnecting the supply line.

- IF the water flow is the same as through the door you will need to find out why there is not enough flow from the water supply source.
- Additionally IF you have a water filter installed external to the unit... it can be clogged or full of sediment and need to be changed.
- If you discover that the water supply is of good quantity and pressure there is also the possibility of a pinched or kinked plastic water line some where inside the refrigerator.
- Sometimes the hose that passes through the door hinge flattens out and restricts water flow.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Sloan Flushmate M-101526-F3-Constant Filling

There is a lifetime warranty on the tank and a ten year warranty on parts. Call flushmate and ask. they will not tell you otherwise.

If you use any chemicals in the tank it will void the warranty.
