sounds like may be in clutch see if you can help the tub start spinning when trying in spin setting...if trying to turn or turns some and stops most likey clutch slipping

In other words it pumps out but when it goes into spin nothing happens. The first thing to check is to remove the tranny(get the agitator out) take the 3 bolts loose and slide out the tranny(no need to get the tub out) Take a look see at the plastic brake release collar mounted on the bottom of the basket drive. The ear will break off and thus no spin. If that looks ok let me know...

Your machine has no belt. It has a direct drive coupling. The direct drive coupling between the motor and transmission must be replaced.

I have 2 words for you: "dog ears".
the dog aggitation ears are what cause the aggitator to aggitate. Those things wear down and not grab after time.
Pretty easy to change out. You just need to pull the aggitator out and change the 4 little plastic ears. Good luck :)
