Hello. You will need to reset the X6570 printer first. Use the printer control panel to reset, press Settings > choose Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Setup > Reset Wireless Adapter to Factory Defaults > choose Yes. Wifi light should turn off and will light up solid red/orange eventually. Now, you need to uninstall the existing driver from your computer by going to Start Menu > Programs > Lexmark Series folder > Tools > Uninstall. Restart your computer. Check if your computer is running on 32-bit or 64-bit by going to Start Menu > right click on Computer > Properties. you're going to need the installation cd for that OCR software. It can't be downloaded online since it's a big file. You might want to call Lexmark on their toll-free 1-800-LEXMARK for the cd. Hope this helps.

Same for you woody123606, i knowalot of people who hate vista, and are going back to xp becaus enow they have all these issue swith printers and programs that will not work with it. Your printer is only conditioned to work with xp driver. Go to lexmark site online and download a driver for vista for your printer.
