Question about Dryers
AF stands for poor air flow, here is what Maytag says about it following that will be my comments.
AF flashes if low inlet air flow is detected
Check to see if the vent run from the
dryer to the wall is crushed.
Air flow restrictions are usually found behind the dryer in the vent hose. You can take if off and clean out the hose from the dryer to the wall. Go outside and check where the dryer vent exhausts from the house, this could be blocked with lint. The dryer will not work properly without the right air flow, if the vent behind the dryer is clear and the opening at the outside of the home is clear the problem may be in the venting in the walls, between the two
