Question about Jenn-Air JES9860 Electric Kitchen Range
Hi, It could be either the keypad control or the main electronic control. To test the keypad and control we would need the exact complete model and serial number from the tag. The trouble shooting would include disassembling the console and using an ohmmeter. If you want to take a chance, the best guess is that the keypad control is bad, the part for that runs about $190.00 If it is the control it is about $220.00. If both $410.00 for just parts.
Let me know how you would like to proceed. I can send you the service manual too if you would like, it walks through the tests. But to get you the right one I would need the model and serial numbers and your email address.
