Problem for Shredders

Shredded 5 or 6 credit cards, one at a time. Will not shred anything now. Can go in reverse, but not forward. Unplugged it and looked underneath, can't get anything to move - not sure what to do now.
Looked for Infoguard website, found this site. Any suggestions? Can't find instruction book, was hoping to download from Infoguard website.
ID-Armor 5-sheet paper shredder- reverse runs, but "On" button for shred does not. Removed all paper, let it cool down. Any advice?

You might have broken the actual mechanism enabling it to move forward. To be honest, your easiest solution would be to buy another shredder rather than attempt repair if this is the case, they're so cheap now.

I have the Infoguard SX100M Axeus, sold by Staples.
Only the reverse was working, UNPLUG and open back cover, the paper mechanical switch was working fine, red side switch, the gears and fuse were all ok, I think something on the circuit board was fried.
I switched the BLACK and WHITE wires with each other going to the shredder motor, thus when I switched it to reverse, it would go foward and shred. Its working now, only in reverse.

I have a Royal PX100MX shredder that only shred in reverse. I followed zee9's advice, opened it up and followed the cables from the reverse and forward switches to the motor. I reversed these cables and put it back together. Now it shreds forward as long as I hold the reverse button! No way to reverse shred, but it's still better than buying a new shredder...
