Question about Roper RAX4232KQ Top Load Washer
I have a roper washing machine that runs good thru the wash cycle and then just stops. What do I need to look at?
What I suspect is the lid switch. A lid switch is in there to keep people from being harmed during the spinout cycle. That is a direct dive washer. I have devoted a page on this model in my blog. The lidswitch connect from the harness features 3 wires. Two gray or HOT wires and one green or Ground wire. Jump the two HOT wires and the washer will run . You can operate the washer like this but it might be dangerous for children and stuff. This video shows how to replace the lidswitch
This one shows various models( they ain't all the same)
