How do I check the timer?
    Is this a beltless model?
What would cause the water not to drain, no noise?

What I suspect is the lid switch. A lid switch is in there to keep people from being harmed during the spinout cycle. That is a direct dive washer. I have devoted a page on this model in my blog. The lidswitch connect from the harness features 3 wires. Two gray or HOT wires and one green or Ground wire. Jump the two HOT wires and the washer will run . You can operate the washer like this but it might be dangerous for children and stuff. This video shows how to replace the lidswitch

That could be a fw different things. A bad timer would cause it not to advance to the next cycle. If it doesn't drain, then a clogged drain or drain screen would be the cause.

No noise and no drain would be bad timer, no power, or faulty door switch.
If just no drain, I would say plugged drain or faulty pump.

No belt on this one. It is direct drive. You can view entire parts diagram at

WASHER WILL WASH ON ALL CYCLES, BUT WILL NOT DRAIN OR SPIN ON EITHER CYCLE

If the timer advances normally thru the spin and drain steps of the cycle you selected, than the problem that would cause neither spinning or draining, is the wash motor is not reversing. The motors is a two direction motor. It spins clockwise for normal agitation, but counterclockwise to engage the wash drum clutch and operate the drain pump. I would ask you to check for motor sounds at all during the spin and drain cycles. The pump reversing in the spin or drain cycles can be a function of the machine's lid safety switch, or if not the motor switch or timer contacts. The lid switch is first thing to check here, for sure! If the machine seems to stop running when it comes time to drain or spin, the lid switch is your best bet!

Hope this helps.

Hello my Roper washing machine is not switching

Check your lid switch. That is what controls the spin and drain cycle.

Have a whirlpool roper washing machine, runs thru cycle perfect but will not spin...lid sesor or switch was no good so took out and direct wired does that switch have to be there to operate to spin

I have a Roper washing machine model # RA S7133KQ1. On all cyle it does not spin or drain but it does agitate. I checked the capacitor, timer and water pump. All is good there. What could be the problem? There is no agitate or spin solenoids in this unit. Could it be the motor coupling for the direct drive washer? Am I missing something else that could be wrong with it? Waiting to hear from the expert.

Roper washing machine hot water won't shut off

An obstruction in the hot water-inlet valve may mean that it's no longer able to shut off and should be replaced. Good luck !
