Question about Heating & Cooling

Our heater wont light

We've recently moved into a new house and the previous owners haven't left the instruction manual. we're not sure whether it's broken or we simply aren't doing it right. when we turn the ignition knob around and then press it down we hear the clicking sound that means it's trying to ignite the pilot light but it doesn't light it. we've tried everything we can think of but nothing works. the heater is a RINNAI but i'm not sure which model; it's built into our wall and on the top it says rinnai and underneath it it says 2001- i'm not sure whether that's the year it was made or something to do with the model but it looks fairly recent. please help- it's very cold without it.

How do I replace bulbs on model DS5603 Mod G electric fireplace

Do you need to replace the upper or lower light bulbs?

For both, first open the door of the fireplace. For the upper light, locate the upper bulb bracket (above the door). Bend the bracket down. Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with 7 W clear chandelier or candelabra bulb with an E12 base. Bend the bracket back up to its original position. Close the door, if only the upper bulb is out.

You will need a Phillips blade screwdriver to replace lower bulbs. Open the door (if it wasn't already open). Locate the screw that holds the log set in the center of the ember bed. Remove that screw and the log set. Locate the bulbs that are behind the log set and determine if one or both bulbs need to be replaced. Unscrew the bulb(s) to be replaced. Screw in the replacement 60 W clear chandelier or candelabra bulb with the E12 base. Replace the log set and press firmly against the glass. Replace the screw that holds the log set. Close the fireplace door.

The procedure to replace the bulbs is on page 4 of the service manual. It is also on pages 10-11 of the Owner's Manual. The documentation is available from Dimplex: http://www.dimplex.com/en/customer_support/technical_and_troubleshooting . The direct link to the service manual is http://www.dimplex.com/cms/publications/7400650000R04.pdf . The Owner's manual is here: http://www.dimplex.com/cms/publications/7206570100R09.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Honeywell portable heater HCE322V manual

Honeywell has the manual for the HCE322V ceramic tower heater on the product page: http://www.honeywellstore.com/store/products/digital-ceramic-tower-heater-hce322v.htm . Click on the Manuals tab. The direct link to the manual is http://www.honeywellstore.com/store/images/pdf/HCE311-HCE322-HCE323-honeywell-heater-manual.pdf .

I hope this helps. Note: the manual covers a few different models. You should ignore any section about the HCE323; that model has a remote and a few other extras.

there are two different viscosity rates and two different calorific values here
if it worked well on kerosene keep it on that
if you want to use diesel then have a technician come and set it up for diesel

Household steamer not heating at all

Well, first thing, just hook up service water and turn it on so the water heats up. Leave it long enough for water to get hot. If water doesn't get hot like should, then heating unit is malfunctioning. If it is getting hot after a while, you pull the handle trigger and water comes out, you have to wait long enough for the hot water to get to the head/trigger for it to go into the nozzles. If it was working ok before, and you were waiting for the water to heat, then then it should be working fine. Tell me what is happening if you wait for water to heat and get to the nozzles. I'm right here at my computer and we can get this thing going if the heater unit is good. Regards, Rigger.
