When the knob is pressed for water, water does not come. Removed the tube in the blue connector loop below the freezer door to test the water pump and circuit. Now when the knob is pressed water comes out of the removed tube. So pump is good and circuit is good too. So water is not able to climb from below the freezer door to the dispenser area? Any idea.

I have a 2008 bottom freezer refrigerator 795.7854 with water on left side of refrig door and water is not flowing. Changed filter and checked water supply and they are ok. What else can I do?

There is usually a solenoid where the supply water hooks up. Need to check it. Pull off hose going from solenoid to freezer and see if water comes out of solenoid when water is pushed on door. If it comes out there, then the line may be frozen.

HAVE A KENMORE FRIDGE M.#106.74253400 WATER DESPENSOR STOPPED WORKING AN CAN HEAR IT HUMMING AN ALSO THE ICE MAKER WORKS SO I NO ITS GETTING WATER? THANKS

my kenmore did the same thing, It had a duel water solenoid on it and one that let water into the door water dispenser went bad. also my ice cube started to get smaller, the rubber in the other side of the water solenoid was dry rotting and eventually ruined the ice maker. I replaced the duel solenoid and ice maker and had no more problems. The solenoid is on the back of the fridge, it is what the main water supply connects to.

Your water line could be frozen in the door. You can disconnect the line at the bottom before it goes into the door at the bottom hinge. Push the dispenser button and see if it comes out there. If it does, leave the door open till it thaws.

A strainer before the inlet valve can also get stopped up restricting flow.

Water will not come through my dispenser on my refrigerator, it is not frozen in the lines cause i checked this. It worked when i first hooked it up.

Without the model number I will only be able to tell you what makes most models work. When you push the lever for water, there is a micro-switch behind it that's activated. This sends a signal to the water valve at the lower back of your unit. It opens and allows water to flow. There is one connection between the micro-switch and the valve. It's located at the door hinge. It could be either the top one or the bottom. Make sue it's plugged in real good. While pushing the water lever, wiggle the plug. If it makes water come out, disconnect the plug and re-connect. If no difference, I would say the most likely problem is the water valve at the back of the fridge. You can apply 110 volts to the side that had the larger tube (On most, this is the valve for the water in door) When you connect 110 to it, if water comes out on the door, you have a bad micro-switch. If no water, you have a bad water valve. You will need to replace at least the solenoid on top. I suggest you replace the whole valve. Good luck
