Question about Amana AKS3040 Gas Cooktop
The cooktop can be heard clicking incessantly when all burners are turned off. When ready to use, one burner (front left) will click but not fire up while the other three burners ignite as needed. Have tried unplugging and plugging the cooktop to no avail. Circuit breaker is not the problem.
Take a look at the solutions that have been posted regarding igniters. i suspect a dirty or wet push-down knob. you will see that others have had water/moisture causing problems. drying mights solve it, but it may need a a bit of a clean. keep trying. it must have taken me a couple of hours to solve.
