HI from LuvsNewToys again. I now have a MacBookPro.. It runs Leopard as well as Windows XP Home.
I can use my TU550 as a modem in Windows OS, (using USB connection), but I cant get it to work as a modem in Mac Leopard OS. Id like to be able to use either USB or Bluetooth.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I take it your upgraded from 10.5 to snow leopard.
There has been issues with Snow Leopard and printers and Devices such as these.
what you can do is go back down to 10.5 make sure all the drivers are installed for the modem and then upgrade again. Say that does not work for you then it would confirm a fact that there is no Snow Leopard compatibility with this modem.
you can also try these steps that are in this video:

When you try to connect to the wireless network, Do u get any error message ? You said that your other wireless is working properly. that means the router is working properly. Check the wireless security settings of the router. Do not change the wireless settings, just check the wireless settings. You will need to open the Web Interface of the router. Click Here for more info
Your xp machine needs to get an address from your router. Make sure that your router is giving out enough addresses for your network and make sure that you are not filtering any mac addresses. It sounds like something is not configured correctly with your security. Disable your security on your router to test the connection.s
If you want to use a cable connection, go into the phone menu and select the following: Menu > Settings > Connectivity > USB Connection Mode > Mass Storage
After this, plug the phone in via the USB cable. The computer will prompt to install the modem driver which you can cancel. Then the computer should detect the memory card as a USB drive and you can copy and paste what you need.
the mac format of the drive is more scedualed than the windows xp or other so format ur drive so ur new operating system will install the principke sys files and it will be accecible in mac..but in windows xp u must format again...
First, un-install all software for this phone then: - Install the USB driver - Connect the phone and USB cable into your USB port, wait for the computer to detect the phone, if it goes into USB mass storage mode, exit so your computer can detect the phone's modem. - Now install the LG Internet Kit while the phone is connected to the USB port and it should already be exit out of the USB storage mode. - Run the LG Internet Kit program, add new modem, select LG Modem, add new connection, select your country and carrier, click connect.
Good luck! This method worked for me, otherwise just manually create a dial-up connection in Network Connection folder and enter the dial-up code for your carrier, no need for any user name or password.
