Question about Cameras

1 Answer

Hello, i have this camera - SAMSUNG NV10/ LANDIAO NV10. i believe i have loads of photos in my memory stick but there are only a handful that i am being able to scroll and view. this problem only began about two weeks ago. i have tried removing the memory stick and sticking in it my laptop and again only a handful of photos have been downloaded. when i switch on the camera, on the top left hand side of the screen where it shows the battery is full also has a figure 100-3405 ...could this be an indiaction of the number of photos i have on the memory stick/camera. the memory stick is FUJIFILM SD CARD 2GB so possibly able to hold over 3000 photos...right? i just know i had more photos in there but i am unable to access them....please let me know if theres anything i can do. thanks! Felista

Yes you're correct that it should hold large amount of photo on that large capacity memory card and it seems that some of the photo got corrupted or deleted, the best way to get those photos that you have on that memory card is to do a a data recovery on it.
You can download and use Recuva software to recover even from a formatted driver or memory card , this is also free and i use it personally. Download the software from this link and then install it and run the software and you will see there a Enable Deep scan when you're already doing the data recovery from the memory card and better connect the card to your laptop's card reader in doing that.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Windows Photo Gallery or Picasa.

Try to take picture but message on screen memorie full how to fix that? samsung NV10

Hi, Memory full means there's no more room to store photos and video so if you delete some photos and videos off of the memory then you can take more. This can be done from playback mode in the camera or on the computer. If you need more help let me know =)

I just bought a new memory card (8gb) for my digital camera (Samsung NV10) and when I inserted the memory card, I kept getting "Card Error". It said I should format the new memory card and I tried to...

The largest SD card you can use in your Samsung NV10 is 2GB. thats why once you insert the 8GB sd card its shows card error or need to fromat.

FYI. for every digital camera there's a compatible memory card and you can see from the box or manual and Its writen SD or SDHC.

goodlukc and thank you

Can I retrieve deleted files NV10?

you need rely on professional file recovery tool to get them back. A popular one is asoftech data recovery. This tool can deep scan the memory card and recover your lost files back without requiring extra skills. Here is the steps might be helpful to you:
1. Connect camera memory card to computer. Under "My Computer", note the drive letter assigned to your memory card (usually G: or H:). If not, you need to take out your memory card and connect using a card reader, or plug-in to card reader slot if there's any on your computer.

2. Download asoftech data recovery program on your compute. here is the link: http://www.asoftech.com/adr/
3. Install and start the program, select the drive where your lost files located, click 'Next'. Now the scanning process will start to search the deleted files. After a while you will then get a list of recoverable files.
5. Press Recover to perform full recovery.

Problem with camera

The lens is sticking, I had same problem, thought it was the battery. It kept doing 4 beeps and turning off, but the lens would be out.

Lightly lube the lens area with WD 40 worked, be real careful and don't use alot of it. My camera works fine now. I actually read the solution someone on this site, can't find it now, but wanted to post that it worked for me. I love the camera and was bummed it wasn't working. Works great now!

Samsung nv10 processing problem

I had the same problem too. It started after I let my friend borrow my memory stick. His camera was a canon and when he used it, his camera created a folder called canon on my memory stick and thus there were two folders where pictures could be saved. I guess my camera didn't know where to save them so it just kept saying processing forever. I deleted the folder called canon and its working perfectly now. So make sure that you only have the 100SSCAM folder in the DCIM folder and it should be fine. Hope this helps!
