Question about Remington 16" Electric Chain Saw
I took chain saw apart to clean then put back together now the chain won't tighten up, I've done evreything possible
This is a very good OM for a Remington. Look at figure 8 on page 8. The adjustment block MUST engage one of the holes in the bar, Then do 1 through 5 as illustrated and you cannot go wrong.
If the block is engaged, the bar nuts are finger tight , and the adjuster will not tighten the chain it must be stripped. If not stripped, follow this example.
If it still causing problems try a local saw shop where someone can see what the problem is. Ask them to demonstrate please.
