I brought a pair of pioneer 800 CDJ Mark 2 about 3 months ago, and one of them is not reading any cd's i put in. It just spits it back out - no error code or anything. I tried putting a normal CD player lense cleaner in but it did not even read that. What is the problem and how can i solve it?

This is more than likely a laser issue. Does it spin the disc up? The first thing the CDJ will do when you put a disc in, is look for a reflection of the laser, which tells it that there is a disc inserted. There should be a short pause whilst it does this, before it fails and spits the disc back out again. If this is the case, there is either dirt and grime on the laser lens, or the laser needs to be replaced. Normally I recommend replacing the traverse mechanism, which includes the spindle motor and laser assembly.
If this needs to be replaced, either ask for more help, or contact your local Pioneer Service Agent.
The 850's should work fine on 50Hz. They are spec'ed at 120/60. with your lower voltage the transformer in the power supply should NOT have a problem. There is nothing syncronized to line frequency so it should work fine.
im only spreading the word due it i had my decks fixed their and i am so
pleased im telling everyone so they can get the same service i did,
rather than paying over the odds at some **** toster repair shop.
Hi, try cleaning the lens with a cleansing disk. if this doesn't produce results, it will confirm a major issue within the lens assembly. you will need to replace the lens assembly in this case. it is unable to track or read in this damaged sate.
