Question about SmartDisk 160GB FIRELITE PORTABLE FIREWIRE HARD DRIVE 5400 RPM 2.5IN 160 GB FireWire 400
I have erased my previous back-ups on my Firewire FireLite external hard drive, but it's saying there is essentially very little disk space available. How can I get the drive reprogrammed or somehow reverted to its original configuration?
Empty your "Recycle Bin" -- it's possible that the files have just "moved" from their original location, and have _not_ really been "deleted".
Or, right-mouse click on "My Computer", and choose "Manage". Click through "Disk Management (local)", and you'll be able to "delete" the partition(s) on the drive, and then "create" a "new" partition, which, of course, will be 100% "empty".

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
