Question about Formac Gallery 2010 20.1" LCD Monitor
The monitor is connected via the built in dvi lead with a male dvi to vga converter which is connected to the vga port on my acer laptop. the laptop doesnt recognise that there is another monitor connected. any suggestions?
thanks in advance for any input.
Try a monitor that has a vga output only, sometimes these laptops can't recognize the difference when there is a converter involved. It doesn't see the signal properly.
Try that and if a regular monitor works with vga then you know that monitor may not be compatible with that laptop because of the converter. You could also try another converter as well to see if that fixes the problem.
