Question about Hotpoint Aquarius WF000 Front Load Washer
Sometimes pushing firmly on the door where the handle or latch is helps to release a jammed lock.Try this a few times and attempt to open the door.Be careful not to exert to much pressure when trying to open the door as you may do more damage. If the door still will not open it may be necessary to break the lock off. This is a tricky operation and removing the machine lid.BEFORE ATTEMPTING THIS YOU MUST REMOVE THE APPLIANCE PLUG COMPLETELY FROM THE WALL SOCKET and wear protective glove and sleeve as it involves grabbing lock from inside the machine and physically bending it back and forth to remove or release the door. The lock obviously needs replacing and should now be able to be removed fully with the door open. Unscrew and make a note of the wiring (usually a small plug) or 3-4 separate wires.Once removed you also need to check the latch which is the piece on the door that would normally fit into the door lock when it is in situe. This should have resistance when moved backwards.(Spring loaded). If there is no resistance the handle (often plastic) is probably damaged and needs to be replaced along with the interlock device. The handle often comes in a small kit comprising of the handle itself,a tensioner spring and a small rolled steel locating bar.Fitting these new components should sort out your problem. Please note that the door handle kit can be tricky to fit and therefor you need to be EXTREMELY vigilant when removing the old one.Make note of every small detail and exact orientation of all parts.Sometimes the glass from the door has to be removed to fit the door handle kit so be very careful when removing glass and again note the position of the glass on the rim that holds it.Check the rim for damage also and replace if necessary.Rims are bought separately and come as inner and outer rims.Remember be careful to note the exact way you remove the door handle parts.Simple enough to do if you take heed of these warnings.

Hope i helped you.

Hello my name is Heath it will be my pleasure to assist you. There are many reasons why this happens but the most likely cause is the filer is plugged and not allowing all the water to drain. Open up the filter door and slowly unscrew the filter. Be prepared for the water left in the machine you will need some towels or clothes to soak up the water. Clean the filter and put it back on then put the machine on spin and let it finish then try to open the door.

First you have to remove the top cover, and release the door catch from inside the washer.Fr this you will need a screwdriver .You will need to replace the door catch and spring, and possibly the door lock, as it may break when you force the door open.
