Washer will not fill up!

The water is siphoning out as it fills. Your drain hose is too low or has a air block. Remove the drain hose from the drain. Set the washer to fill. Hold the drain hose up higher than the washer. If it fills correctly and starts agitating, correct the drain hose problem.

Water keeps filling the washer

If the washer keeps filling and overfilling then unplug the machine and see if the water still continues to come in. If this is the case, you have a bad water valve. If the washer just keeps filling and never gets to the top then your drain hose is shoved too far down into your house standpipe and must be pulled up and an air gap established.PART NUMBER 285805 @ 30.00 FOR WATER VALVE

Washer keeps filling w/ water, only stops when changed to spin

Your drain line is too low.
OR the drain line is restricting air where it enters the drain stand pipe.
Remove the drain line and hold it up high.
Turn the washer on to fill. It should fill then stop.
This example should explain what you must do to correct the drain line problem.

My kenmoe washer starts filling up with water but won't fill up. Water is just keeps running through but won't hold the water.

You drain hose must be higher than the tub. you can solve this with a standpipe or a siphon break kit.

Kenmore he3 series washer keeps filling with water when not in use

Remove the 3 screws at the back of the machine that hold the top on. pull back on the top and lift the top off. Remove the hose from the inlet valve and remove the screw that holds the inlet valve.

Washer will not fill

Check your inlet hose from the wall socket, it could be clogged with something. Look also at the machine hose. First turn off the wall hose, and keep a bucket ready.

Water keeps running

missmelissa, sounds like you are siphoning. Lift the drain hose from the drain and see if it fills then. You need to have a air gap on the drain so you don't get the siphoning affect. Catriver..post back.
