I had a prob with my daughter's purple C6 corvette where car would charge up and turn on but wheels wouldn't spin. It turned out to be the part that makes the wheel turn. It happened to still be under warranty so I called and they shipped the part out. All I had to do was follow instructions for putting it on.

When you lift the seat you can see one on each side. Unfortunately I don't remember what they're called but maybe this info will help you get started somehow.

It is probably the battery or the connector. Those batteries are known for being junk and it isn't fair to customers at all. It is under powered, won't hold a charge and cost an arm and a leg to replace. I know I own one and finally got the solutions to overcome the expense to fix it. If you go to www.cammhsm.com you can get the scoop on it and save a lot of time and money and get away from that stock battery and charger and connector www.cammhsm.com

Data link connector wiring diagram

Doubtful. There are a lot of manufactures that will have plugs unused and nowhere for them to plug into. Start with the battery and make sure it is fully charged. Did this problem just happen?? Possible blown fuse/fuse link causing the electrical to have no power. There are usually several fused links on these older models that go to the starter. Have a look to see if one is burned up/broken and repair as necessary

You checked the charging voltage at the battery with a ? volt meter ? What was the voltage with the vehicle running ? 13.1 to 14.1 volts ?
BATTERY NOT CHARGING The IPC illuminates the battery not charging indicator in the driver information center when the following occurs:
?€¢
The PCM detects that the generator output is less than 11 volts or greater than 16 volts. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM requesting illumination.

?€¢
The IPC determines that the system voltage is less than 11 volts or greater than 16 volts. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the body control module (BCM) indicating the system voltage

Batteries charged fully, horn works, alarm sounds when key is inserted , wheels are unlocked but drive wheels dont turn when levers are engaged

This may be the motor controller. Usually it is a transistor used to drive the motor on this board. It can also be a loose or corroded connection. It can be also a low voltage problem (not battery related but wiring or other) or a internal motor problem.

If you can disconnect then reconnect each connector. If it is loose or dirty that usually is all it takes to fix it. If you can't do that you should take it into a repair shop. Usually the place of purchase will be able to tell you about any local repair shops. When you take it in try and tell them how it drove, what the battery charge was and if anything was abnormal the last time it worked. For example if it drove slower and slower and the just stopped. If there were any smells or smoke. A good repair shop will know whats wrong within a few minutes of looking at the scooter.

If you can work on the scooter you can get repair parts and everything plugs in and out. So if you can get the repair shop to tell you whats wrong or give an estimate then you can save a few dollars by fixing it. This saves the cost of labour. Most people aren't comfortable around electrics so if this is your case get a couple of estimates before committing to getting it fixed. You may get a better deal on parts or labour so it can pay to shop around from as many places as you can find.

Scooter battery shows full charge but scooter does not move ! red led light flashes 8 times !

Plamont unfortunately that flash code usually means a controller error. The controller is the brains of your scooter. Take the seat off and remove the rear shroud that covers the batteries and motor/gearbox assembly. Check all the wiring connectors for damage or loose connections. After checking the connectors turn the scooter on and see if you still get 8 flashes.
Did Medicare purchase the scooter? If so they will pay for most of the repair costs. You can contact your provider that sold you the scooter or a repair service Repair Xpress@ 1-877-581-3733 or Roadrunner Mobility @ 1-800-467-2668 Hope this helps you

My four wheel golden electic scooter is fully charged but went from fully operational to just clicking and not moving at all. Can you help?

Hi. I have had this problem on many machines. It is normally a stuck brush in the motor. This stops the motor from going. The click you can hear is probably the brake solenoid releasing.
Can also be a faulty connector in the motor or battery leads.
Good luck. Neil.

Pride sonic scooter won't turn on. the battery is charged and the motor is functional. Appears to be an electrical switch. any suggestions?

How do you know that the motor is functional? Have you load tested the batteries. If the batteries are bad usually they will still take a surface charge and appear to be fully charged.
