Question about HP Officejet 7210 All-In-One InkJet Printer

My HP stops printing after accessing any type of webmail or online study courses,e tc. I can send a doc to print and the printer works but it prints blank pages. The ink cartridges are fine.

Step 1:-
First of all go to the printer--> Press setup button on it --> use the Arrow keys --> choose the tools option --> now choose the option Print a test page--> If the test page prints fine--> The printer is fine. No problem in the printer.
Else take out the cartridges and clean it with a lint free cloth. ( Remember when cleaning the cartridges DO not touch the nozzel of the cartridge. Just clean the out side of the cartridge nozzel.)
Step 2:-
Try to change the color of the font on the document you are printing and then try printing. You will get to know if it is actually printing or not. If it is not printing in color also then try this ...!
Click on start--> go to control panel--> go to printers and faxes or printers option and then right click on the printer and choose properties option. Click on the print a test page button.--> Check if it works.

Is the formfeed in the document itself? The printer won't print a formfeed by itself without being told to do so. Of course, if there is no formfeed in the document, then the printer won't print anything at all, just leave the document in memory.

Is it a PRINT CARRIAGE error or a PRINT CARTRIDGE error?

and enteringing '5510xi' and doing the search.
Then, click on "Troubleshooting" and read the online documents.

please make sure that the software smart web printing for hp printers is installed correctly on the computer then once the smart web printing is installed perfectly you can see that smart web printing on the left hand side of the screen then you can left-click once on that icon then holding down the left mouse button click drag and select the part that u want to print the together press control+p then select the correct printer and give a print the doc that you want to print if the issue is not resolved then uninstall and reinstall smart web printing if in case the issue remains unresolved pls revert back

Printer shows that it is offline. I can't seen to do anyting to get it online and printing again.


Please follow these steps to make you printer online and print again:

1.if there's any pending doc , right click on the printers icon and click on cancell all documents
if that does not remove all docs then click on start >run > type services.msc , then look for print spooler.
restart the print spooler.
then go the printers page and press F5 two to three times to refresh the page.

2.look whether the correct port is selected (right click on the printers icon , click on properties , click on ports and see which port is selceted
if its USB connection it should be - USB 001/ 002
if its wireless then - HP/TCP IP PORT with the ip address of the printer

3.you can also download the printer diagnostic utility (PDU) from hp.com
for example win7 64 bit user using HP Officejet J4580 All-in-One Printer, can copy and paste the url on the address bar to download the printer diagnostic utility (PDU)

My printer will run a test will copy but will not send doc or anything else to print, it says it's printing but it's not


Try to uninstall and reinstall your printer if that's doesn't work than let me know

What type of printer are you using?

What type of documents you are trying to print?

download smart web printing and use that feature to print ... if it still does the same then the drivers need to be changed to basic ... let me know if it works else get back to me on hashir.tasleem@gmail.com

Failed to Print error


clean the buffer before fiving print and then restart the system. If the problem occurs same then reinstall the printer driver and then try to print
