Battery died while talking, left on charger overnight, still dead, no light no nothing

Do you own a professional type scan tool ? Would need to see if the instrument cluster can communicate with scan tool . That would be a priority . If the instrument cluster ,for some reason wouldn't be talking,checking power an ground for the cluster . Batteries going dead , changing batteries without a alternative power supply can cause modules to go to sleep permanently ! Battery Disconnect or Replacement Problems I'am not saying that's what happen to your's . 2003 to 2006 GM had cluster problems ! The solder use in the cluster caused silver migration , instrument cluster caused a drain on the battery overnight . Watch these videos !

Replace the alternator.

The Battery has gone flat. When you tried to jump start it, this did not change the battery state its still flat.
I bet you will get the same code on the scanner if you remove the battery. Take the battery out and charge it with a battery charger overnight, then try it again.

I don't think the charger will blink again when you put back the battery.
The manual says, when the battery is placed and the charge lamp does not glow, the battery is defect.

Red light indicates that the battery is charging. The light will goes off to inform you the charging is complete. Possible that the battery was alreay damaged since you left it charging overnight. Charging time is approximately 5 hours only.

I suggest that you have to replace your battery with a new one.

chech to see if its getting a charge you may have frooze it but its under warrenty anyway so i would take it back.

your alarm system has been tripped when the battery went dead, to get the information on how to reset the alarm is to call the car manufacture to get the procedure, and should not cost you anything.

Sounds like you need a new internal battery. Contact the manufacturer for repair centers.
