Drain valve orientation

You have got the valve in back to to front.
you would get fault code 51 soon having it like that.
(00110011) Diverter Valve Fault
The motor controller has registered a drop in water level in the recirculation phase of the wash cycle. Water is being drained instead of recirculated.
Primary Source:
Action:
Diverter valve.
Remove the diverter valve and check for blockages as well as checking that the hinge mechanism on the valve hasn't broken. Remove the hinge from the solenoid and check that the flap is free to move. Check that water hasn't been sprayed onto the valve from an external source and caused the solenoid to blow.
Secondary Source: Motor Control Module.
Action: Turn the power off at the machine but leave the power on at the wall,
then measure the voltage across the terminals of the wax actuator. If a reading of 230V is achieved, the motor controller has failed due to a valve fault and both will need to be replaced.

Check the hose that connects to the bottom of the tub to the drain hose. Make sure that hose is securely fastened.

Water runs out of it as soon as it starts going in

Water constantly running down the drain, and the washing machine repeatedly topping up with water, can be caused by faulty plumbing. The washing machine may get stuck on a wash, or rinse program, caught in a cycle of filling with water and losing it down the drain. When siphoning has started it can stick forever in this cycle.

Siphoning occurs when the end of the drain hose is lower than the level of the water inside the washing machine. It's exactly the same principal as siphoning beer out of a barrel into bottles or siphoning petrol from a tank. If the end of the drain hose is very low, then water can siphon out as soon as it enters the washing machine. If it's just slightly lower than it should be, then siphoning is usually triggered when the washing machine first pumps water out or even just occasionally.

This fault most often occurs when the washing machine has been moved out for cleaning or relocated in a new house etc. It can also occur if a drain hoses stand pipe isn't properly secured to the wall and falls over at an angle.

The drain hose should also not be pushed down too far down into the waste water pipe, which can cause siphoning just the same as if the stand pipe is too low. It needs to go just far enough in to prevent it falling out but it will fall out if not secured properly with a crook or tape. If the stand pipe that the drain hose is being pushed into is too low, then it may need raising. It could have fallen through the floor boards in which case you can gently raise it and secure it to the wall with proper brackets. If it was just installed too short, you can add a small extension piece.

My Danby washer always drain the water when it fill the water up on the 3 and 4 water level setting. So I can't wash clothing at all. Hope get answer soon.

The answer is the drain hose. It must be routed higher than the machine or water will always drain. There is no actual drain valve.

Washing Machine on the blink mainly due to no spin/drain cycle wo

check your drain filter, get a wet vac and vacuum the water out, then open the drain plug at bottom and try to vacuum the drain to clear out debris......then turn on and test washer if it fills and drains if it fills with water and doesn't drain then your drain pump is defective........get your model number and source for a pump motor.................................

if it doesn't fill with water then your water fill switch is defective...............source for parts..............

if this helps out anyone a feed back would be good..........

Water keeps draining LG WF-561SPP top loader

If the cycle does not stop draining that is usually because of a faulty membrane switch that controls the water level in your appliance.
The faulty sensor cause the machine to think that there is still water inside, even when water has drained completely.
