Question about LG VX8300 Cellular Phone
LG VX 8300 Reset Lock Code To Default If you have your phone serviced with Verizon this should work. Dial *228 then push send. You will get 3 options to choose from. 1. To program your phone. 2. To update your roaming capabilities. Can't remember 3rd option. If you choose 1st option, program your phone you will be told to hold while your phone is being programmed. When finished your phone should turn off then on again itself. Your lock code is then set to default. (last 4 digits of phone #)

Unless it has been changed try and put in the last four digits of your phone number

I had this happen once to my mom's cell.... she had the lock code changed so it wasnt the usual last four digits of the phone number... after countless hours on the phone with our service provider, we eventually had to go to a main verizon wireless store to have them manually go into the phone and unlock it.... i cant rememeber them charging us, but my mom had the insurance on her phone anyway. but thats the only way they told us (for verizon at least) how to unlock the phone once the code didnt work for you.. you have to go to a main service provider store to have them unlock it for you...trust me its worth it
