Question about Fuji FinePix J10 Digital Camera
I have a new screen and I have undone all bar two scews that will not undo. These two screws are next to the tripod screw hole.
1 . Can you advise if I need to undo
2 . Can you suggest how.
At least one of the screws at the base must be removed, as this is surely holding the external case. If the two screws are different he other screw may be the screw used to regulate the lens (several camera models only).
If the two screws look the same, then they must both be removed.
To remove the screw(s) at the base, you will need a security screw driver. This is done to avoid non authorized persons disassemblying the camera.
The part number for the original Fuji screwdriver is ZJ00583-100. The part is provided to registered technician only.
If you want to disassemble the camera by yourself, you can use a security screwdriver set similar to the one here: DURATOOL. This sets are the only tools of this kind available to the public. Naturally, do it at your own risk.
Ensure that you have removed the screws at the sides of the Fuji before removing the ones at the bottom.
