Question about Computers & Internet
I have a positively ancient Ascentia J Series J30 P-100 CSS10 notebook computer which I still use to control stepper motors. This notebook has worked ok for years but last night it gave a message saying the bios battery has failed. I was wondering how to replace the battery as I can't work out how to pull the case apart. There seems to be a few clips holding it which I can't see.
Problem is almost solved. There is a good video on how to take apart a laptop on Youtube. I've almost done it, I keep running out of time due to family things getting in the way.
Here's the URL:
Although the laptop shown isn't the same as mine, the method used is working for me. I've removed the HDD, battery, memory, the screen and the keyboard, so far. I just need to remove the plastic surrounding where the keyboard was.
