Hi the PUK code is not a security code for the phone the PUK code is the security code for the sim card, to solve your problem all you need to do is contact your service provider and tell them you need your PUK code, they will ask you for the phone number of the sim card or the number printed on the sim card, they will then give you your PUK code they dont charge for doing this and they will give you the code over the phone and once entered this will give you access to your sim card again and get your phone working again.
the other option you have is if you dont need that sim card then you could just get a new sim card this then wont ask for the PUK code
doing either of the above will solve your problem, they wont charge for giving you the PUK code so that is your best option
Your phone is requesting the PUK code since you have unsuccesfully made 3 attempts to enter your PIN code to your phone.
You need to contact your service provider in regards to your PUK (Personalised Unlocking Key) code. Just ring them up and tell them that you need a PUK code, they should give it to you free of charge.
I suggest you once you have your PUK code, to write it down somewhere where only you will remember it for next time. Don't write it on the phone or on the outside of the phone just in case of the event where you have lost your phone or it has been stolen.
Every PUK code is unique so nobody can tell you your PUK number, but i will tell you what you can do! 1) If you still have your packet that your Sim Card came in, you should find your PUK number in there, if you don't have the packet, please read bellow.
2) You must get a phone that is on the same network as your phone and call the networks Customer Care and ask them for your PUK number, they will ask you for your phone number, then they will tell you your PUK number. Once you have done this, you will be able to reset your Pin number so you will be able to go into your phone again.
You are going to have to buy a new sim card from your carrier. When you enter random numbers it eventually blocks the card and it can not be reversed. They are about $20...... Live and learn:)
Your service provider can give you the PUK code. Once that is entered you will be able to reset the PIN code. DO NOT try and guess the PUK code! If the PUK is entered too many times incorrectly it will deactivate the SIM permanently and you will have to purchase a new SIM.
