Question about Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000 Webcam
I have windows xp. I installed my microsoft vx- 1000 and went well. When I open it from the desk top the webcam is fine. However when I try and video call anyone on live messenger my video feed can't be seen by either of us. I ran the audio and video setup as the help desk told me but still no improvements. Any thoughts??

Make sure you have any support software loaded that may be necessary to run your model. For example, I have Logitech and need Directx. Support software is not downloaded with the product but as a standalone item.
Check out the Microsoft support website - fill in the details of your cam and OS and move to the support page for your model.
Look for the readme link and check known issues and breaking news. Look for any information regarding additional software.
