I dropped my samsung sgh-a437 into some water, and after it dried out worked fine for a month. Now all it does is vibrate when i install the battery. I'd like to get to the circuit board and check for corrosion i may be able to clean, but i can't figure out how to get inside. i removed the four screws but i can't seem to split the case. how do i get inside?

If the phone is exposed to any form of liquid or moisture it will damage the phone's mother board, it causes malfunction on the phone. You can try to have a technician evaluate it for you, if the phone can still be repaired.
Check the manual usually they are like 1111 1234 or 0000 by default. if that doesn't work try last 4 of phone number and this code *#8999*8378# - Service Menu should allow you to reset phone to default and fix the issue
normally the phone is no longer any good after water damage like that, but you could take the battery out and let it sit next to some thing worm for a day or two to make sure it completely dries, then put the battery back in. se if that does the trick.
