Question about Cub Cadet Lawn Mower Deck Drive Belt Replaces CUB CADET 75404044 CUB CADET 95404044
Struck front of tractor with tree. Deck leading edge rubs against front left tire and trailing edge right rear tires. Need to turn deck counter clockwise as seen sitting on seat. Height and side to side ok. Front end appears OK. Left turn can put front left tire under leading edge of deck. Deck lifted up will spin right side anti-scalp wheel against right front tire.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Look under the battery holder. There is alot of wires that come down from the ingition and the fuse should be mounted or fastened right under the battery holder.

Probably a bent "drag link". See your owner's manual about checking for damage adjusting the steering. For the LTX 1045, it is "Maintenance Section 6", Page 22. If it is bent, repair or replace as mowerman1857 indicated.
You should also lubricate at the two grease fittings (per side) shown on Page 20 -Lubrication - "with a #2 weight Multi-purpose grease". It may have been skipped at the factory or may have been stored at high temperature before you got it, and dried out. (Text in quotes are from the manual)
